James Ford

James established Economic Science in August 1981 with the aim of providing specialist financial advise to both individuals and companies. Currently James is the West Australian member of the Professional Investment Services Adviser Council and volunteers his time in the AFA (Association of Financial Advisers) mentoring program passing on his wealth of knowledge from years in the industry. Outside of work James was an active member of Perth Legacy for 25 years concluding in 2017 as President .

Tawera Waru MFinPlan, FChFP, BBus(Fin)

Tawera graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree with a major in Finance. He was awarded the Provident Financial Services Prize for Personal Finance III. He joined Economic Science in May 2013, after working part time in the industry during his studies. Since joining Economic Science he has become a member of the AFA (now the FAAA) and has a Diploma in Financial Planning.  He has also furthered his studies and can provide advice in share trading, self managed superannuation funds and margin lending. Tawera has completed  his Masters of Financial Planning and is also a Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner (FChFP).

Tracey Hunt Adv. Dip FS (FP)

Tracey is the Practice Manager at Economic Science. With her background as a Financial Adviser for many years, it is Tracey's role to ensure the smooth running of the practice on a day to day basis. Tracey is responsible to assist not only the team but especially the clients of Economic Science.  Tracey is available to all clients providing a high level of assistance and service.

Sunny Nguyen BBA

Sunny has joined our team after completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2023.  Her goal is to be a successful office professional by utilising problem solving and administrative skills to support busy professionals and by providing bespoke, quality service to our clients.  Sunny has changed from a previous vocation where she acquired advanced client liaison skills.
